Simon has lived and worked in 3 continents. He is an analytical problem solver with a proven track record in business creation, building and successful exit. He has led CAMSCORP from inception.
Simon started as an investment banker in 1992 and has over 15 years experience working in New York, London and Tokyo in that industry eventually leading successful global trading teams. Since 2007 he has built commodity business in Europe, Africa and Asia. Simon though his business activities has interests in commodities, renewables, agricultural processing, finance and venture finance.
Simon has been involved in many successful start-up businesses notably Credit Market Analysis Limited, Wolf and Badger and many others. Simon has numerous non-executive roles and since 2012 has been Chairman of Octopus Investments EOC Committee, which manages over £8.5 billion in funds in the UK.
With CAMSCORP to date Simon has visited 16 out of 54 African countries.
